Organisation and leadership

BIOCORE is organised as a collaboration between Norway’s four university natural history museums.

The research school is led by the Natural History Museum at the University of Oslo, with two successive leaders, co-leaders at each partner museum, a dedicated coordinator, and an external advisory board with national and international experts, including biannually elected Full Member PhD representatives.

Through this structure, BIOCORE works to support gender equity and diversity and to ensure that opportunities within the research school are shared fairly across Norway’s four university natural history museums.
