The eDNA Symposium: Biodiversity Monitoring, data publication and regulatory framework is part of our commitment to develop eDNA approaches that can contribute to regulatory biodiversity monitoring. We aim to bridge research and regulatory perspectives to strengthen the mutual awareness of progress in the field and required needs for effective regulatory adoption.

The course is suitable for MSc and PhD students in biology and professionals in relevant fields of science. Participants must be interested in using biodiversity data to conduct scientific research.

Accelerating biodiversity research through DNA barcodes, collection, and observation data. Aimed at M.Sc. and Ph.D. students with online training material and expert trainers online to assist. 

The BioDATA Advanced includes the exchange of student interns. Two 3-month MSc student internships (1 February - 30 April 2024) at the Natural History Museum, Univ. of Oslo, in biodiversity data skills and molecular methods.
