The Ida fossil and her world

The oldest known primate skeleton, Ida, is on of our iconic object and was bought by the museum in 2007 before being revealed for the world in 2009. Ida is displayed in our new geological exhibitions. In the new exhibit she will feature together with fossil remains of other animals she lived alongside 47 million years ago.
