The Hypacrosauruses Zelda and Zara
The skeletons of the two Hypacrosauruses are the first real complete dinosaur skeletons in Norway. The dinosaurs, nicknamed Zelda and Zara, lived in North America 74 million years ago, at the end of the age of dinosaurs.

For the very fist time a complete original dinosaur skull is exhibited in Norway thanks to a generous private donation.
The Ida fossil and her world
The oldest known primate skeleton, Ida, is on of our iconic object and was bought by the museum in 2007 before being revealed for the world in 2009. Ida is displayed in our exhibitions. In the new exhibit she will feature together with fossil remains of other animals she lived alongside 47 million years ago.
