Academic interests

My research fields are paleobiology and evolutionary biology. My Ph.D. project aims to investigate the patterns of evolution across timescales, and within lineages using various quantitative genetic tools. Using both univariate and multivariate evolutionary models, I explore the diversity of macroevolutionary patterns in the fossil record and investigate the consequences of a dynamic adaptive landscape on lineages from a generational scale to million years. I also investigate wether phenotypic evolution at the species level can predict phenotypic divergence at a higher taxonomic level. By integrating both fossil and recent time-series into my work, I want to better understand the bridge between microevolution and macroevolution.
