Academic interests
The fungal kingdom comprises a vast diversity of organisms that have key ecological roles in virtually all environments on Earth. As a researcher, I am interested in how to use sequencing data to better understand the fungal kingdom as a whole, including their evolution, physiology and ecology.
My main research focus involves the use of genomic data from both current and historical specimens to better understand how mushroom populations evolve over time.
