Academic interests

With a strong interest in zoology and passion for organismic research I am particularly interested in studying how diversification is emerging, developing, and changing in different organisms. My past research projects were focusing on systematics, phylogenetics, and functional morphology of herpetofaunal diversity. However, I have a wide-ranging and broad interest in evolutionary biology, organismic zoology, and biodiversity. During my PhD Research Fellowship I am excited to study the role of hybridization, as well as patterns and processes of speciation in a broader context across several vertebrates.
