The conference venue is the main building (Henrik Wergelands Hus) of the University of Agder in Kristiansand

University of Agder in Kristiansand

The university which has also a campus in Grimstad is one of Norway's youngest universities established in 2007. It educates about 11,000 students in health and sport sciences, fine arts, social sciences, philosophy, economics, business administration, engineering, and natural sciences. The Campus in Kristiansand is called Gimlemoen.

The lectures and the poster session will be in the ground floor of the main building. During the conference days refreshments will be served. Lunch at the conference days can be taken in the canteen “Kafe Kampus” in the same building. The costs for the lunch are not included in the conference fee.

The University of Agder is about 3 km north of the city center across the river Otra. The university can be easily reached by walking along the County Road 471 (Drønningsveien-Østerveien).  There a number of public bus routes going from downtown to the Campus (busses nr. 17, 18, 19, 22, 23, 35, 36, 37; http://www.akt.no/english/). One ride from downtown to the university costs 31.00 NOK paid directly to the bus driver when entering the front door of the bus (do not use large banknotes for paying – the bus drivers do not like that at all). There will be a shuttle bus (arranged by PEG2017) 14th and 15th of June departing precise 08:30 from the parking place in front of the Radisson Blu Hotel, Vestre Strandgate 7, to Agder Universitet (The same place where also the post-conference excursion bus will departure 16 and 17 June 08:00). The bus is free of charge.
