Looking at bees - guided tour in English

Get to know bumblebees! Join this free guided tour in English.

Here, you will get to befriend our very important helpers, the bumblebees. The walk is free, and arranged by the Norwegian bumblebee association and the Natural History Museum.

The walks last about an hour in which you get the chance to take a stroll around the botanical garden looking at bumblebees and the flowers they visit. You get to learn about the bumblebees' way of life, their role in nature and importance to humans, what you can do to help them and, to identify some of our most common bumblebee species.

We hope you'll like to join us for one of our bumblebee walks this summer. Bring your friends, kids and neighbours. Welcome!

Meeting point: Urtehagen (the herb garden) in the Botanical Garden.

In case of heavy rain, the event might be cancelled. If this happens, we will inform you in this event.
