Natural History Museum temporarily closed

Strong winds increases the risk of trees (and debris) falling down. NB! The photo was taken August 10 this year when the museum was temporarily closed for the same reason. Photo: Tor Carlsen/Natural History Museum.

Due to forecasted strong winds the Natural History Museum including the Botanical Garden will be closed from 14:00 and the rest of the evening Friday September 21.

The Natural History Museum will be closed from 14:00 this afternoon and the rest of the evening Friday September 21. Consequently, there will be no access to the museum buildings and the Botanical Garden during this period.

If the wind conditions improves throughout the evening/night, the museum will be open with regular hours tomorrow, Saturday 22.
