Natural History Museum closed
The Natural History Museum is now closed as a measure to prevent spread of Coronavirus
After advice from the national health authorities we have decided to temporarily close the Natural History Museum, effective from 12 March. This is done as a measure to prevent spread of Coronavirus.
The closing affects the Botanical Garden and all museum buildings, including Collett's House (previously Zoological Museum), the museum store, the Victoria House and the Palm House.
The official opening of our new Climate House and the accompanying opening festival have been postponed until further notice.
All planned public events at the museum until 14 April have been cancelled. If the events are scheduled with a new date, this will be announced on our web pages nhm.uio.no
We are sorry about any inconveniences this may cause for our visitors and hope for your understanding.
