A skull of a Quaternary Visent, a large and strong bull - about 2 meters high - which evolved in Asia 2 million years ago. The species reached Europe 750 000 years ago and lived there, becoming extinxt at the end of the last iceage. It belonged to the Bison-family, with two extant species: The American Bison and the European Visent.
