Casts of the brain cavity.
The brain case forms the posteriormost part of the vertebrate skull. It contains the brain which is in contact with the spinal marrow at the back.
If the brain case is filled with sediments after the animal is dead, a natural endocast of the brain cavity can be formed. The cast can give us information on the brain´s shape, surface and veins.
