Biosystematics of flowering plants including, taxonomy, cytology, reproductive biology, biogeography and molecular methods, with emphasis on the following plant families: Hyacinthaceae, Dracaenaceae, Anthericaceae and Amaryllidaceae. Field experience from Cameroun, Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Namibia, South Africa, Crete, Madeira and Norway.
